You should know about a new independent documentary called “The Trick to Escape a Straitjacket”. It’s the story about Kenny Stewart, an eccentric old man from a small town in Indiana who recounts his passion for show business and the enchantingly bizarre stories of his life as he attempts to perform the one secret trick he’s always wanted to pull off: escaping from a straitjacket. This film is as charming as it is weird, and will leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling.
We worked with filmmaker Rosie Nakamura to create animated maps and brought life to old black and white photographs. It was really a lot of fun to work on the film and even cooler to see it in its entirety a few weeks ago. It’s starting to make its way into the film festival circuit, so hopefully you’ll be able to see it at a festival near you.
